K-12 Programs & Resources
The NSF-funded NHERI Network is a distributed network across 11 institutions. The NHERI Network hosts educational programming and offers educational resources through the networks Education and Community Outreach (ECO) division. Each NHERI site also has institutional educational resources and programming for K-12 educators and students.

Below are links to the educational resources and programming of the NSF NHERI Education and Community Outreach for undergraduates, graduate students, and early-career faculty.
- NHERI Research Experiences for Undergraduates — The NHERI REU Summer Program provides research opportunities at the ten NHERI multi-hazard engineering and interdisciplinary research sites during a 10-week summer research program.
- NHERI Graduate Student Council — The NHERI Graduate Student Council offers graduate students interested in natural hazards research a chance to connect with other like-minded students while building a network in the natural hazards field.
- NHERI Summer Institute — The NHERI Summer Institute is a free event for early-career faculty, NHERI Graduate Student Council, K-12 educators from the San Antonio area, engineers, and researchers to learn more about the Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) community, NSF grant proposal writing, and more.
